Welcome to my KIRK Genealogy

***Note: Max Kirk, long time genealogist for this Stephen Kirk line, lists Joseph Kirk to be the father of Stephen. In fact, Max outlines the following ancestors of Stephen: Joseph, John, Christopher Kirke II, Christopher, Thomas, Edward, Arnold Kyrke. I have not proven his work beyond Stephen Kirk but am working on it. Max does not cite the source for Stephen to be a child of Joseph (will, land deed) although he provided proofs for other generations. I would love to team up with other researchers of this Stephen Kirk line to add additional generations. Max passed away and it appears his website was taken down. Many of his comments and data are still on the web. If you are interested in working on this please contact me and I will be happy to share what I have thus far so work is not duplicated. I have also worked with Dee White and Johnny Kirk and both have been gracious in sharing data. The three of us have been working together for years and welcome new resources. My email address is listed and I look forward to hearing from you.
